Shelter Point Single Malt Whisky

Shelter Point makes small batches of artisan whisky and vodka on a magnificent, 380-acre farm in Oyster River, just south of Campbell River on Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada. Farmed for generations, Shelter Point remains one of the latest seaside farms on the Island.

Paradise isn’t necessary a geographical requirement for making great whisky, but Shelter Point managed to find it. It’s here that Shelter Point staff craft the 100% Single Malt Whisky, distilled batch by batch in traditional copper pot stills from two-row barley, and aged in white oak barrels in its oceanfront warehouse. When it comes to artisanal whisky, every elements matters – and in Shelter Point’s unique, temperate rainforest climate, even the sunsets and sea air become integral.
